RIHCA Political Action Committee
In a legislative session, the state House of Representatives and Senate introduce bills and enact laws that can have a dramatic impact on skilled nursing facilities. From legislation on lawsuit abuse reform, increased regulation and the minimum wage, to our annual fight for budget dollars, RIHCA is involved in every major issue facing our sector in Rhode Island.
That’s why it’s important for RIHCA to have a strong political action committee (PAC). RIHCA contributes to pro-skilled nursing candidates who fight for the residents and staff.
Why You Should Contribute to the RIHCA PAC
Because we need to stand up for those who stand up for us. Remember: in addition to contributing to the RIHCA PAC, we need you to develop and maintain your relationships with the legislature. PAC contributions are important, but it’s the relationship with your legislator that really drives our message home.
RIHCA PAC can only accept PERSONAL funds per Rhode Island Campaign Laws. The Maximum amount that can be contributed in one calendar year by an individual is $2,000.
